The Challenge
Konker needed to evolve from a basic listing platform into a full-featured marketplace with seamless transactions, automated seller onboarding, and integrated CRM workflows. The international user base required multi-currency support and localization across different markets.
My Approach
I built the marketplace features as modular systems — the transaction engine handles payments, escrow, and dispute resolution; the CRM layer automates follow-ups and campaign management; and the analytics module tracks seller performance metrics. Each module communicates through a shared event bus, keeping the codebase maintainable as the team scaled.
Key Contributions
Designed the Stripe Connect integration supporting split payments between the platform and sellers with automatic tax document generation. Built the automated email campaign system that triggers personalized outreach based on user behavior patterns. Created the seller dashboard with real-time order tracking, revenue analytics, and buyer communication tools.
